Creoles- Spaniards born in Latin America.
Mulattos- a mixed of European and African.
Simon Bolivar- a man who helped makes nations gain their independence.
Jose de San Martin- a general who also helped Latin American nations gain their independence.
Miguel Hidalgo- a priest from Dolores.
Jose Morelos- a strong leader who had lead a revolution for 4 years.
4)  In my opinion I disagree with that Spain had not right to go to South America and take over the land of each nation. The Spanish didn’t have the right to go there and take leadership over the people of South America, before they came and took over each nation had a leader or a king but then the Spanish came and make and had the classes that most people were in the last two.

Napoleon controlled the Spain, Switzerland, Italy, kingdom of Naples, Confederation of the Rhine, Grand duchy of Warsaw.
1)
1- Napoleon Bonaparte:  he became emperor of France and he was short.
2- Coup d’état:   a sudden seizure of power.
3- Plebiscite: a vote for the people.
4- Lycee:  a school the government controlled.
5- Concordat: an agreement.
6- Napoleonic code:  a system of laws that took away many rights that was won in the French revolution.
7- Battle of Trafalgar:  a battle with British against the French and Spanish and the only major war he lost.
3)    Does the man make the times? I think that napoleon was the creation of his time.  It begins where he defended the delegates on the national convention.  Later on he would win many of the battles he was in.  After losing a battle he would return to France and when he does the directory had lost the confidence of the French people and lost control of the situation. Napoleon then seized political power; because of directory losing power napoleon was able to become who he was.
4) I think the most crucial place that napoleon had to control was inside of France not really the outside of it.  If napoleon didn’t keep everyone inside France under control it could of lead to another revolution.  If he didn’t there would have been a war and enemies would ally the rebels and he would be in very big trouble to deal with all these problems.

How napoleon came to control the French government. Napoleon was a lieutenant but then he rose through the ranks, as the time of him being a lieutenant he defended the delegates of the national convention. After winning a lot of battles Napoleon saw himself as a general and a leader against Austria and the kingdom of Sardinia. After losing a battle in Egypt by the British and fled to France, he returned to France had to seize power from the directory, because of his wife napoleon had became one of the three consuls.  After stepping part of the consuls there was a vote to decide who would be in control of France, the people of France wanted a strong leader so the votes were mostly to napoleon and he became in power of France.
